In addition to a telecommunications-specific Property & Casualty business insurance program, TIG provides the following services to members of NTCA:
- Policy comparisons, review, and consultation of insurance industry policies.
- Insurance customer support for automobile ID cards and requests for proof of coverage via certificates of insurance.
- Insurance brokerage for Specialty Lines including but not limited to Professional Liability, CyberLiability, Directors & Officers, and Bonds.
- Claims advocacy--protecting the rights of the policyholder.
- Insurance Risk Management services.
- Loss control and avoidance consultation with physical site visits.
- Timely education and training seminars at NTCA and other telecommunications and insurance industry events.
- Insurance advocacy for the telecommunications industry by maintaining active membership in insurance industry trade associations and voicing our concerns.
- Communication pieces that educate and warn of pending issues in the Risk Management Matters newsletter, Rural Telecommunications journal, and the Telcom Watch fax notification.
- Support of statewide telecommunication associations and groups by maintaining memberships and actively leading and participating in meetings.
